Purchasing Art the Right Way
I know purchasing art can be a bit nerve-wracking. What to buy? Who to buy it from? What style is right for me? I am here to assure you that my aim is to make your buying experience a pleasure. I have been selling online since 1995 and have been creating art almost my whole life. I take pride in every piece. You are guaranteed to love the piece you select or return it for a full refund. You will own art that is valuable, appreciates in value, and will give you delight and enjoyment for years to come.
What is it about?
My inspiration for these pieces is drawn from Mid Century Modern Art modernist abstract styles and ideas as well as abstract expressionism ("Noir Giclee"). To help you decide what is right for you, I have included a description on certain detail pages and/or the titles give indications as to my inspirations and ideas for each piece, so you are not left in the dark when it comes to the question "what is it about?". I try to answer that question for you and give you insight into my thoughts and inspirations as I created the piece. You can browse through the galleries and find the art that you love.
So Many Questions So Little Time!
I'm an email, online chat, or phone call away. You can contact me directly and quickly, no "customer service reps" who don't give a hoot or any such bull here. You are buying direct from the artist herself - me Debra Ann.
What style is right for me?
As you look through the galleries, certain pieces might have a wonderful effect on you, might bring back a memory, might help you to relive a wonderful moment or feeling in your life, or just give you a good feeling when you look at it. That is my goal. To tickle your brain, to make you think, to give you a special feeling. Then, everytime you glance at your art on the wall you are reminded of this feeling and experience joy all over again.
My work is modern, and draws on personal experiences and ideas. I am confident you will find a Mid Century Modern Art piece or two that is perfect for your home or office.
A Glimpse Into My Art Studio
I am lucky to own a home that came with it's own 1700 square foot "bonus room" which I turned into an art studio. The previous owners (the first and only owners of this home before me) ran an antique business and as soon as this custom house was finished in 1988 they drew up plans for an addition and had it built immediately. The house was already a very comfortable 2,200 square feet, but they needed more space to store their collectibles. Lucky for me! In 2006 I purchased this home and every day I wake up and "go to work" in this lovely (HUGE!!) studio, which is so cool.
